KINETIC HORSE

On this project, I am responsible for all parts. This includes the procedural animation, textures, lighting, and compositing.

This project involved creating a function automaton from reference, with zero keyframes or hand animation. The motion is driven by VEX code and various calculus equations. The modeling of the horse was driven with curves, building the whole piece by piece.

For the look development, it involves a procedurally built material utilizing the Redshift OSL code.

This project was done fully in Houdini, rendered in Redshift, and composited in Nuke.

I enjoyed the challenge of this project as the controlled freedom of following reference.
