PARTICLE DISINTEGRATION

On this project, I am responsible for all parts except for modeling. This includes the POPs FX simulations as well as the texturing, lighting, and compositing.

This shot was my intro into Houdini’s POPs, utilizing VOPs, VEX, and PryoSourceSpread to drive the particles.

For the look development, it involves a procedurally built material utilizing the Redshift Material Builder, leveraging various noises.

This project was simulated fully in Houdini, rendered in Redshift, and composited in Nuke.

I enjoyed the challenge of this project as well as my intro to POPs in Houdini.
